Last Thursday, the Korea-Germany Association’s Stammtisch gathering at Itaewon Kamar was a great success!
Stammtisch is a tradition from German culture, meaning a “regular get-together table” for friendly meetings.
Our Stammtisch is a small group that connects Korea and Germany, held on the second Thursday of every month, providing a space for networking and cultural exchange with a variety of people.

At Itaewon Kamar, participants gathered in small groups, enjoyed beer, and had relaxed conversations in a comfortable atmosphere.
Music added to the evening, making for natural networking.

This month, we launched our first small event: the “Bungeoppang Preference Vote.”
Red bean bungeoppang vs. custard cream bungeoppang—which team are you on?
The results: Red bean received 13 votes, custard cream received 17 votes, so custard cream narrowly won. 😄

The reasons for voting were also fun:
The red bean team exclaimed, “Nothing beats the traditional taste!”
The custard cream team passionately supported, saying, “Soft sweetness is the happiness of winter.”
Thanks to this small event, we were able to talk more comfortably about Korea and Germany.

If you attend Stammtisch, the first 20 participants receive a free beer, so be sure to join us next time!
The Korea-Germany Association’s Stammtisch is held every second Thursday of the month.
Become a member to receive updates and join us for even more interesting topics next month.
Anyone interested in German culture, looking to build new networks, or simply wanting to enjoy a beer and good conversation is welcome!
📍 Date: Second Thursday of every month
