On May 14, the KDG Stammtisch took place at Itaewon Kamar in the early summer warmth.
Despite the rather hot weather, many participants joined us, and the atmosphere was just as lively as the temperature.

As always, the 40 free beers for early arrivals were quickly gone, showing the high level of enthusiasm for the event.
With the folding doors wide open, guests enjoyed the refreshing breeze and the outside view, creating a more relaxed and open setting for conversations.

Participants from diverse backgrounds gathered in one place,
sharing stories about German culture, daily life, hobbies, and personal interests—
making for a truly enjoyable and engaging evening.

And of course, our monthly voting event!

This month’s topic was:
“How do you usually spend your weekends?”

⏰ Sleep in – 13 votes
🌅 Wake up early – 11 votes

The “sleep-in” group took a slight lead.

Sleep-in team
“Weekends are for catching up on sleep.”
“It’s the only time to recover from weekday fatigue!”

Early risers
“Waking up early makes the weekend feel longer.”
“Mornings are the best time for workouts and hobbies.”

At the same time, many participants mentioned that
“it depends on the situation,”

and regardless of nationality, quite a few people said they adapt their weekends flexibly depending on their schedule and energy level.

Once again, this simple topic showed how naturally conversations can flow as people share their lifestyles—
a reminder of what makes Stammtisch so special.

Whether you’re interested in German culture, looking to practice your German,
or simply hoping to meet new people in a relaxed setting,
Stammtisch is always open to you! 🍻
