Dear KDG Members,
We held the 2015 Annual General Meeting with Ausflug at Jeseokwon in Paldang on May 17, 2015, attended by 264 people including 91 KDG members.
The AGM was opened at 12:15PM with the necessary quorum present and followed by a report of business of 2014 and business plan of 2015, which were duly approved. President Young-Jin Kim gave a welcoming speech, and Botschafter Rolf Mafael graced the occasion with his presence as well as a congratulatory message to those Korean and German in attendance.
With a toast by Dr. Stefan Dreyer, Goethe-Institut Seoul, the Ausflug started with a variety of German food, Krombacher draft beer, and wines.
In the afternoon, there was a special performance by Kook Soo-ho Didim Dance showing the Korean’s traditional spirit in harmony with nature followed by lucky draw, the finale of the events.
All these can be well managed by the donation from a number of companies and private members as well as our corporate members. KDG could further continue to expand our efforts of consistent exchanges between Korea and Germany.
